CONSULTING

I am available to help you get organized with your plans for your special Event.

I can meet you where you are in your planning process and we can go from there.

I offer a full planning service, or some clients plan their whole event but need support . I can help with communicating with others, to bounce ideas off , or take a few tasks off your plate.

I have a long history of Catering, Planning parties, and Fundraisers. I have great relationships with local service providers, and rental companies.

I can to help you in any way you might need.

Day of Coordinator

This Can include:

Event set up
Coordinating with vendors
Dealing with last minute changes
Keeping the schedule flowing
Event breakdown

Basically all questions are diverted to me . This allows you and you loved ones to focus on each other .

Wedding Officiant

I am a State Of Maine Licensed Wedding Officiant and offer services for Elopements, and Small Weddings .
I will can meet you ahead of time and discuss your ceremony.
I am open to most times, and locations depending on scheduling.

About Me

My name is Tasha Higgins and I live in Bar Harbor where I was born and raised.

I have a Culinary Background, and owned a small take-out and catering company

named Mother's Kitchen for 24 years.

I currently run the food Program at Mount Desert Elementary school in Northeast Harbor.

Some of my recent summer employment has been in a local flower shop, and a jewelry shop.

I am bringing all of my experience together and for

Sweet Island to help others with their big and small life moments.

Rates

Consulting Rates are dependent on level needed . They generally start at $150.00 and increase with the amount of assistance requested.

Day of Support Rates range from$500-$2,000 depending on time involved in fulfilling your needs.

Officiating rates start at $150. Time and location are factors

Getting Married in Acadia National Park

Acadia offers the most beautiful locations for sharing your vows . You may gather in a group of 10 anywhere you would like. For more than 10 people a permit is required. Visit the link below for more detailed information on getting married in the park.

Acadia Permits

There are many other beautiful spots on our Island or in surrounding areas that are not in the Park .
I can assist in finding other locations , rental homes, or other lodging that can accommodate your needs.
